Stop the rain

Today morning the rain finally stopped. After noon the sun appeared, what a change for the better. We went for a long (three-hour) walk to the Oittaa forest by the Bodom lake in Espoo. We made an open fire at a resting place, but the firewood was so wet that it hissed when we got it burning.

I took quite a lot of photos with my LX3, as did the children with the Ixus 400. Not many of the photos succeeded, but the important thing was to be out there while it was not raining. At now it seems to be promising - during the next five days we should have dry weather here in Finland.
