Now the sun is setting already at 5 pm, and days are fast getting shorter. Today we had a nice sunset, with plenty of different colors. When there are no leaves left in the trees the silhouettes remain. In a way, trees are now reduced to their essential being.
From now onwards until spring, artificial light will be more common than sunshine here in Finland. I wonder how people coped before the electric lamp here in Finland. I guess they didn't do much reading then.
Update: This was shot from a small bridge crossing a brook. The water was completely still, but the children decided to throw some gravel to the water. Then there were interesting ripples to photograph.
