I was rather busy while traveling to Tampere during the weekend. There are almost 2000 photographs waiting for processing.
I got a bit carried away Sunday morning when there was a dense fog cover in Tampere city center. I took photographs for an hour until the fog started to disappear, walking along the river, across the river, and near the river. I wasn't the only one taking photographs, but it was surprisingly quiet early in the morning.
The photographs shown here were taken at lake Iso Lehmälampi in Vaakkoi on July 31st, in the company of a young Gavia stellata.

What a wonderful soft light you've captured here, Juha. And I love that sparse composition in the last image!
Thanks, Markus!
Indeed, the light that day was something special, a thin cover of clouds, with occasional glimpses of blue sky. The leaves of water lily provide plenty of interesting details to capture late in the summer.
