You cannot see it, even in this clearest morning

The weather starts to be somewhat colder than so far this autumn, and I need to use warmer clothing for the bicycle commute. Otherwise the weather is good, even though there was a little bit of rain in Helsinki today.

The photographs were taken on August 22nd near the Petikko landfill area. It was noisy.

(Posting title is from the poem The Campus on the Hill by W. D. Snodgrass.)

Thank you!

This morning when I started commuting to work I felt that the winter is approaching, as it was quite dark outside, due to a thick cloud cover. The dark time of the day gets longer and longer, and the bright summer days start to be just a memory. But there is of course a kind of delight in the dark season as well, even though it takes some time to get used to it.
