A month ago I made a posting about invasive alien species, here are some more of them.
The first is Himalayan Balsam, which is spreading rapidly in Finland, replacing native species. There is also a rose species, Rosa rugosa, which causes havoc at seaside in southern Finland. And lastly, we have Myosotis arvensis, an ancient invader into Finland, which I guess you could almost call a native species already.
