After centuries of heartbreak and laughter

I commuted by bicycle, and it didn't rain then, and I even got some backwind when returning home, helping on the way. But later it started to rain, when I went with the children to eat dinner and to buy some groceries. Didn't mind it though, as the autumn colors are getting rather prominent in some places. However, I was too tired to go out and take photographs in the rain. Maybe tomorrow.

(Posting title is from the poem My House is the Red Earth by Joy Harjo.)
