Close my eyes and I’m a vessel

Today was such a busy day - although I did like what I was doing - that I had very little time for taking photographs. I did have some time for reading, as I commuted by bus, but otherwise I was trying to keep things afloat. And mostly I succeeded, or so I hope, which will probably become apparent tomorrow.

And I like the iuxtaposition of the two images here - that urban scenery for my eyes is the best foundation to truly enjoy those delicate trees.

@Colin: Thanks - I went through a bit older photographs and found this one. Subdued colors (it was a dry day) but still, there is something about the aspen trees and fireweed...
