Wonder about the bruised bodies

Yesterday evening I went out with my youngest daughter, looking at the signs of autumn. Lots of color is still visible, although it is getting late in the season.

Today I attended a course for government officials, and it was rather interesting to have a look at the internals of public administration. During the lunch break there was pouring rain.

According to the weather station in Kaisaniemi it rained 6 mm in a short while, but I think it may have been even more near the railway station where I was sheltering. The streets were flooding, and the pedestrian walkways were filled with streams of water seeking escape. Luckily the rain eased a bit, and I was able to walk to the Parliament building without getting too wet.

(Posting title is from the poem Falling: The Code by Li-Young Lee.)

PS. Andreas made an interesting posting about focusing. And another about DOF. And then there was a relatively thoughtful review of the LX7 at Camera Labs, which seemed to find a lot of value in the camera. If my LX5 would fail, I know what camera would be the replacement.

Thanks, Art!

That link to a LX7 review was interesting, certainly looks like Panasonic got a winner here.
