Zen oiled and greased

Here are four photographs taken yesterday when I commuted by car. Today I commuted by bicycle, and it was a misadventure, because I got a flat tire in the rear, and then my pump didn't work, and at that stage the tire was finished anyway.

I walked the bicycle for some distance, left it near a bus stop, and returned home by bus. And then I had to fetch the bicycle by car so that it wouldn't get stolen. Now I'm rather tired.

(Posting title is from the poem as i fly over this time by Thulani Davis.)

Some days one shouldn't get up, but stay in bed.

But hey, tomorrow will be better!

Wonderful night photos, btw ... ;-)

Martina, so it goes some days... Anyway, these things do happen when one commutes by bicycle, even though I have been relatively lucky.

There was one year during which I fell down with the bicycle three times, one of these resulted in a broken wrist. Since then I have been more cautious.

It so happens that when I was leaving work a colleague reminded me to take care when riding the bicycle to home, and then I got a flat tire...
