This is Grenomossen swamp in Meiko, which I visited on March 24th. A rather large bird circled above the swamp some distance away, and I couldn't be sure of the species. The LX5 is at tele end 90 mm (equiv.) and even at the original size of the image file the bird is difficult to identify. Maybe Buteo buteo? As you note, I'm not an expert on birds.
