As men who saw and saw and refuse to see

This morning before sunrise I went to Sipoonkorpi, and walked around the big swamp near Viirilä. It has been rainy recently, and the swamp was wet. At one point the water almost reached the top of my tall rubber boots. I walked for 2 1/2 hours, and didn't see or hear anyone else.

The photographs were taken on October 17th.

Oh yes, this was an exceptional morning, cold enough for frost. Otherwise it has been much warmer than normally, no ice or frost to enjoy. Well, perhaps soon there will be some...
