I took quite a lot of shots of this blue button flower, but my Ixus 400 had trouble focusing. This one succeeded nicely.

One problem (if you see it as a problem) for compact cameras is the wide depth of field despite wide aperture, here f/2.8. A SLR-size sensor would make the background much more blurry, providing a different atmosphere. But I do like this photo.
