Nikon Coolpix P6000 is not it!

Nikon just announced the new Nikon Coolpix P6000 advanced compact camera, and it leaves me cold. The lens is reasonably nice, a 4x zoom starting at 28 mm and aperture 2.7, not bad. But the sensor is designed according to the megapixel race - a 13.5 million pixel 1/1.7 inch sensor, which definetely will be noisy.

And the battery seems to be quite weak, less than 300 shots. The included net connectivity and gps geotagging probably will consume so much power as to make battery endurance the weakest point of the camera.

So, one of the predictions came true. What about Canon G10?
