Today my daughter had pain in the ear, and we went to see a doctor, and it was an ear infection. Swimming might have been the reason, the doctor said, ear infection is not uncommon during summer. Well, it was good to get a diagnosis, and I hope the ear will soon be back to normal.
We also bought a new bicycle to replace the one that was stolen during the summer. My daughter was rather happy with the new bicycle. It is similar to the stolen one, and she said that she will give the bicycle a new nickname.
Speaking of bicycles, if you want to see how it looks to have about 6000 bicycles in a parking lot, have a look here.

A moment of profound silence followed.

You've done a nice job of keeping the detail in the whites on the first image.
@Sven: Well, my default setting on the LX5 has -2/3 EV exposure compensation, and that saved the whites here. A snapshot or two was all I had time for.
