Out at night

Trees, originally uploaded by jiihaa.

I couldn't stand not going for a walk (and do a bit of photography out there), so here is one photo of the night, wishing good night to everybody.

In this photo the new firmware of the LX3 didn't do so great, but I think the light sources here are almost an impossible combination. I didn't do any changes in the colors, only straightened the perspective a bit in Photoshop and used LightZone to brighten the foreground slightly.

What was best about this photo was that I was out there walking, hearing, feeling, breathing the fresh air.

It is something with you Finnish guys and the light... It is laconic or maybe modest. I don´t know, but I always have to get back and look again.

Sometimes you get lucky in catching the Finnish light. And I think there is excellent light (and photographers) in Sweden.

God jul och gott nytt år!

Hi Juha. I like what you are showing and your writing too. I have just started up a blog of my own and added lightscrape to my linklist. The list just contains three links so far. My sisters son, my sister and you;-) Others will be added.
Maybe you could add my adress to your links?

Thanks! I added your blog to my Google reader photography list. It is getting quite long but there are so many nice sites...
