This is an example of quite nice result from the Canon Ixus 400 digital compact, which is just a point and shoot camera but often produces quite reasonable results. The lighting yesterday was quite good for this kind of photos, being cloudy but not too cloudy. Perhaps I'll visit the same place within a couple of days again.
