Canon 3D, 4D, 6D, 7D and 9D full-frame cameras - a lot of fiction out there

CameraRumors.com has a nice summary of the floating rumors about the new Canon DSLR(s) going to be announced soon. Excellent marketing for Canon. But what about Nikon? And does a camera actually mean so much?
