Soon here - ruska (autumn leaf color)

I believe the English language doesn't have a single word translation of the Finnish word "ruska", autumn leaf color. We are not yet in ruska season in the Helsinki region (in contrast to northern Finland), but it will soon be here.

There are great differences in the amount of colors from year to year. Some years, if there are no cold nights, we don't have much autumn colors, but sometimes we get a really bright display. I hope this year will produce a nice set of colors, which would be a great change to a rainy and gray summer.
