Are the colors correct in the Panasonic LX3?

Against a stone, originally uploaded by jiihaa.

There has been an active discussion about LX3 color settings in the Panasonic forum at Dpreview.com. I have been using a custom film mode based on the standard mode, with contrast and sharpness turned down by -1.

Based on the discussion, there seems to be another nice alternative, using the "Nostalgic" film mode with several tweaks: contrast+2, saturation+1 and nr-2. In addition, it was suggested to use i.exposure standard, and tweak the color balance in AWB: blue two notches, magenta one notch. I'll try out these settings next, tomorrow if there is time.

In any case, the photo here was taken today in a nearby park. The light was not the best possible for taking photos of autumn leaves, but this photo wasn't too bad.
